About Grace Lempka, Esq.
I began my legal career defending law enforcement officers and municipal agencies in complex civil litigation matters, including Section 1983 civil rights claims, at both the trial and appellate levels. I have represented clients in internal affairs investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and OPIA investigations.
In addition to my litigation practice, I have experience advising businesses, entrepreneurs, and emerging brands on intellectual property and business-related matters. During law school, I clerked for two years and worked on matters involving anti-piracy litigation, trademark protection, and copyright enforcement. That experience provided an early foundation in protecting intellectual property rights and helping clients safeguard and grow their brands.
More recently, I have worked with startup companies across various stages of growth, providing practical legal guidance on business formation, contract drafting and negotiation, brand protection, and strategic planning.
I am admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
I earned my Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2017, with a focus on Sports Law and Intellectual Property. During law school, I competed in the Tulane University International Baseball Arbitration Competition and served as co-chair for the execution of Villanova’s 2017 Game Day Case Competition.
Prior to law school, I graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 2014, earning degrees in Accounting and Sports Marketing.
